  5. If you’re using Wi-Fi, confirm that your signal is showing all bars or greater than 90%. If your connection doesn’t meet these requirements, then you will run into issues such as: your remote connection dropping after a few minutes and your connection freezing.
  6. Connect to Cisco AnyConnect VPN using your @bostonivf.com account.  Open the Cisco AnyConnect VPN application and make sure the address in the address bar is: secure.bostonivf.com Click Connect and login with your Boston IVF credentials.  You should be prompted to complete multi-factor authentication.

Confirm that your username has @bostonivf.com at the end or is showing bostonivf\yourusername.  Click connect once you confirm the username is correct.  If your username is showing something else, then you need to change it.  This can be done on a Windows computer by selecting More Choices or Use Another Account at the bottom of the Windows security box that will ask for your network password.  It will look like this:

  1. Once steps 1-9 are reviewed and completed, you should be connected to Remote Desktop.
  2. Some users may still get an error message: The Remote Desktop computer cannot be reached.  This can occasionally happen when we’re balancing the number of users on the servers.  Please restart your computer and then try it again.
