In the event of inclement weather and with approval of your manager to work from home, please follow these instructions:

Follow the attached instructions on how to connect from a Windows computer or a Mac. We have also included shortcuts that can be saved to your desktop at home. These shortcuts are for Windows only. If you have a Windows computer please save your locations shortcut to your home desktop. You do not need to follow the attached instructions. The shortcut is already setup for access.
Shortcut: BIVF Remote.rdp is all of New England.
Shortcut: Albany_Syracuse.rdp is all of New York.
Shortcut: AZ Remote.rdp is Arizona.
If you have a Mac, you will need to follow the instructions and create the connection.
Since you are working from home, please understand that we will be not be able to fix the majority of issues that you may encounter while working remotely.
What you can do while working remotely:
- Access email, eIVF, WinMed, FileMaker Pro, and the H Drive.
What you cannot do while working remotely:
- Scan
- Use the Phone system.
Potential Problems and Resolutions:
- You receive the error message: “connection was denied because the account is not authorized for remote login.”
- Email your manager directly. We must receive an remote authorization email from your manager.
- You cannot connect to remote desktop from our shortcut or the connection you created:
- Make sure you are connected to the internet and can access websites.
- If you can access websites, then review the attached instructions again to make sure you followed them correctly.
- If you still cannot connect, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do.
- You clicked print by mistake and your eIVF is frozen, or your Remote Desktop session is frozen:
- Please click the Red Logoff button on the desktop, or click the Windows icon in the taskbar and select logoff. Your remote session needs to be reset. If you just click the X and close the window, the same session will re-appear when you attempt to connect again.
