How to setup Remote Desktop on a Mac

On a Mac, you will need to download: Microsoft Remote Desktop (Now Called Windows) from the Mac App store.

  1. Once you open the program, you will need to click on the + (New) to create the connection.

 

 
 
 

 

 

  1. Input this info below and leave all other fields the way they are.

Connection Name: Boston IVF Remote

PC name: remote.bostonivf.com

PC name for New York: remote.albanyivf.com

PC name for MD's only: remotemd.bostonivf.com

PC name for Wilmington: nc.bostonivf.com

 

 

Username: bostonivf\username or [email protected]

Password: Leave this blank.  You will be prompted to enter your password upon login.

 

  1. Click on the red x to close the window.  It will automatically save.

 

 

Double click on the new connection.

 

You will always get this popup screen below.  Click on Continue.

 

 

The regular remote desktop screen will appear. You will just need to input your username and password.
